Hi There,

I've searched all over the Internet but couldn't seem to find this hence the question here. I am still waiting for my PAL but have already set my eye on the Kriss Vector 9mm Alpine White.

I am just wondering if anyone has one in this particular color and if it is easy to maintain and keep it white after your shooting session. Any picture would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

1st. Welcome to the forum

2nd, you'd probably get more response if the mods would move this thread to the appropriate section (don't think a Kriss qualify as a precision rifle)

Personally, I think it would look great with a COS Play Storm Trooper outfit

I have one and just love it. Impossible to keep clean but I just don't worry about it. Put a red dot scope on it and it's awesome. Always get comments at the range.

This gun is on my, If I somehow slush in money list of guns. I would only want a White model, however I never even considered dirt until now. Gosh after some use I think of what gun would build up on my Nintendo Controllers.

Get a black version. Trust me. It's your first gun. I know you don't think you'll ever sell it but you just might want to to trade up to something. If you buy white you just cut the potential selling market from everyone who wants a 9mm vector to at most 5 % of that number. Or you will sell it really cheap. Not many people (that description is generous) want a bright white gun.

And if you do buy this it will not only show you how dirty guns get but it's harder to clean the plastics and how dirty handgun ammo is

BUT we all want we want. The reason you aren't finding much is because not a lot of people buy these. I will venture a guess and say NO. It will not at all be easy to keep up the bright white appearance. You will probably spend at least double if not triple the normal time you would spend cleaning it if it were black ... or any other color then white. If you let it sit for a while without getting the sludge or dirt or oil off of it (and assuming this gun needs a decent amount of oil it being semi auto) it can seep into the plastic and will become stained. And I wager that it will take on a brown pooh smear color rather than black oil like color.

These are all just my opinions on the matter. But if you were my friend and said you were going to buy the white version I would 100% talk you out of it. Even a hunting rifle. Usually camo on any gun will cut your buyers market down a bit (cept for bows) but white just slashes your buyers market brutally.

And I just scrolled up. Saw a small post. Buddy said "impossible to keep clean" that's what I would figure. But if you have your heart set then go for it. You may regret it if you don't.
