Mini14 - what do you think?

Too much money for poor accuracy. The jury is still out on the accuracy of the new 'Target' version. It's too expensive too. MSRP is $995US.

Has anyone ever seen a Ruger actually sell for the MSRP?

I have owned three....The only rifle that 'sells used' for 1/2 to 1/3 what they are new, fun gun, but expect shotgun like groupings

I have the mini 14/ mini 30 (The new model) and the mini 14 target. Compare the mini 14 target to the AR target rifle...no different, base on a benched 5 shot groups the 14 target (.25-.50)MOA. The AR traget rifle (.30-.50)MOA. Ammo used: UMC 45g fmj.

hahaha,Dave is right, and the best I like the Ruger mini14/30 because its compact (The best scope use on the mini is the Leupold VXIII 1.5-5x20)30mm tube.
