Of course. The pistol wins the US Army contract and we all discover how great the pistol is. Same thing happened to the Glock. Glock throws their pistol out of a helicopter and we all go and buy one. CZ Shadow wins IPSC Production regularly and the Shadow is the only gun for Joe Scmuck to ever want to buy cuz it will make them a) a better shooter, and b) a recognized member of the group. Show up with something else and you get reminded how much better you would shoot with a Shadow. Hoyman the local boy in da hood runs a Glock and.....
I really like my M&P 9 2.0, just sayin.
How's it stack up to the first version?

This guy's right. This isn't English 101 and this has become boring and stupid.
Only shot the 1.0 version a couple times, then moved on to CZ85C, great trigger and accurate pistol, but always loved the feel and look of the M&P. The 2.0 has way better grip and trigger is also excellent for striker fired pistol. Anyways, it is better than the original, and very well priced right now. I really, really, like it. I mean really. Just me tho......

The Sig P320 is my recommendation. I fired mine for the first time last night and the grouping is amazing. A little bit of a high hold at five yards but I haven't been shooting for a while so my skills may play a part. It's well balanced with a light DAO trigger and little muzzle flip. It performed beyond my expectations and it's a great price for a Sig. I'll post a review thread on the M17 when I have more time.

No it's not, it's a single action pre cocked striker system. Call me crazy but a 6.5lbs single action trigger is far from something to brag about.
I'd be interested to know more about the "single action pre cocked striker system" if it actually existed. What's the source of this nonsense? If it's true, which I greatly doubt, I'll apologize and you will have my full respect.
He's partly right. Still DAO though. We'll see how well he explains it.

Hearing these opinions and reading the research I mostly agree. However, it is officially a DAO trigger. Maybe it's an issue of how to reclassify the traditional SA trigger or creating a new classification. Until then it is defined, by an agreed upon standard, as DAO. I think this may deserve it's own thread as the issue has become interesting. Personally, I would like to be referred to some primary sources on the matter.
