Sig Sauer P226 Legion Magazines

Mine only came with 2 mags as well. ... but I found they were crap anyways, had to very forcibly load them into gun with 10 rds so I was just loading 9. so I got rid of them and bought 5 of the 10/15 mecgar ones.

Um, I have probably put 1k+ rounds in my Legion in less than a year. I have never had difficulty loading mags. They are stiff, but that's good IMO. I can easily load the 10th by hand, but I just use an autoloader and it makes it even easier...I've never heard a single person say SIG mags were bad...

Maybe you need stronger hands.

2 in the case, 1 in the gun.

My case didn't even have space to fit 2 in there. I got 1 in the case, 1 in the gun.

I have also found P226 mags a PITA to load. The mec gar ones were much more pleasant to load. The P320 mags are as well.

I went into my local dealer yesterday and they already had my third magazine in as well as the magazines for all the other people that had purchased legions before and only got 2 magazines with them.

I contacted the dealer I bought mine from to inquire about the possibility of a third mag I bought mine from and was told that they come with two magazines. I guess that answers that question!

My dealer initially told me the same thing. But when I told them it was a mistake on Big Rocks part they emailed them right away and Big Rock sent the third magazine for mine, as well as all the legions the dealer had in stock and the others they had sold already.

Thanks for the info. The reply I received was quite curt...it was like "they came with two and were advertised as coming with two" so I don't have the sense that they're interested in investigating and it's not worth the headache to pursue it with them any further. Oh well, it's the last business they'll get from me.

So contact Big Rock yourself and be sure to mention the way their retailer handled the situation. The retailer should have known that ALL Legions come with 3 as per Sig Sauer themselves have advertised.

I also registered my IRG-purchased Legion on Sig's website, and asked them to ship the Legion case and coin to a US address for me (they don't ship them to Canada) - case and coin were shipped 4 days after registering my Legion and giving them US shipping address. So, VERY happy how it turned out.

I didn't have a problem loading 10 into the mag. But was very hard to get the factory mag loaded with 10 rds into the gun with a closed slide. I much prefer the mec gar ones.

That's normal with factory mags, especially the 10 rounders. They build them super tight so you can't "accidentally" load 11 rounds into them. The reason it's hard to insert on a closed slide, is because the round is pressed up against the bottom of the bolt, and there's not enough wiggle room in the mag.

That case looks nothing like what mine came in. The foam cutouts look like they're for something else. Someone is being a little loose with packaging I think. Mine fit like a glove and came with 3 mags.

Had the same problem with mine first time at the range. My friend bought a new Beretta FS92 and the rounds were hard to load especially after 4. Get a magpula mag loader. Thats what i did. Man what a difference loads the whole mag in seconds. best thing i bought. LOL first time out i spent more time loading the mags than firing at targets. My Thumb hurt for days lol. Also had to ask about the 3rd mag mine only came with 2 but dealer was right on it and gave me the 3rd mag. Now just waiting on the case and coin since begining of april. Anybody wait this long for this case and coin?

This is how my Legion came.

If you look at the 2 pics they are the same except for the mags are standing on their edge instead of laying there all showy on it's side.
Someone along the line has sticky fingers if Sig is saying they have 3.

Yup. I'm still waiting for my case and coin since early April.
