Trying to remember the name of a milsurp catalogue that I used to get back in the early 90's I would guess. I Remember it had FN's was the most memorable. My Dad bought me a FR-8 for Christmas one year out of it. There was also knives too and I bought a crazy curved Indian sword from here too. Anyone hav ideas?

Century Arms. You still got that "crazy curved" sword ? If its thin and got a prominent curve It's called a "Shamshir", meaning "lion's Tail" in persian because it curves like one. If it's old it might be worth some money. :)

AKA Interarms; I remember them well... Oh, to know then what I know now...f:P:

Century....................................man, did I ever love getting their flyers in the mail. So many guns-so little money to buy them.

GlobeCO or Ontario Gun and Tackle , there was one in BC also can't think of there name right now.

OGT had a heap of cool milsurps way back when. And the old Gunrunner and Access to Firearms was like reading a Milsurp menu.

Century Arms. I miss them. I recall 54r ammo 1000rds/$100. Even at that time it was a decent price....I remember shooting off 1000rds in with my M44 Mosin Nagant in one day...sore shoulder that night! ....hmmm not sure what I miss more... Century Arms or my youth!?:p

King Sol.
You could by almost anything from them, maybe even vehicles. The firearms section was mindboggling to a youth such as myself.

I believe it was Century International. I though it was something International. The funny part is neither me or my dad really new what he was buying me when he bought me that FR-8. I was probaly 12 or 13 and just thought it looked cool and was so dam cheap. It was right around $100 think(because that was the usual Christmas limit). That is one thing the internet has ruined, used to be so exciting getting catalogs, i remember looking through that and the readers digest sized S.I.R catalog for hours on end. Thanks guys!

NO its thick and has two tiny knives in the sheath. Its more like a oversize curved machete than a sword. It was called Guri Kuri or something like that.

Mac308 is likely correct. It sounds like a kukri. They usually come with two small knives, one for small cutting jobs and the other for sharpening the main knife.
