Cleaning questions

Hi guys. These are pics of my cz 75 sp-01 shadow I'm cleaning after shooting 210 rounds yesterday. I shot 150 a couple of weeks ago and cleaned it then too.

First question. How do I get all the blackness off? I used Hoppes #9 bore cleaner to get most of around the breach end of the barrel and in here but I struggle to get everything clean and shiny like it was. Will it ever look that way again and should I keep going until it is?






Second question: How do I get these mags open to clean inside?

Your pictures aren't showing for me. Sometimes carbon build up can be difficult to remove, I've used different stuff to remove carbon and carb cleaner seems to work for me.

Get one of those bronze bristled toothbrushes and use that. I've found those very effective for cleaning inside the frame, slide, and feed ramp of the barrel. For magazine disassembly, use a punch and push the tab inside the small hole on the floor plate of the mag. The plate will then slide off the mag, and be careful as the spring inside is under a lot of tension and will come flying out if you're not careful.
