Mec-Gar 1911 9mm Mags

mec-gar is the OEM supplier of mags for a number of firearm manufacturers including CZ, Girsan, Beretta to name but three. They work.

Take Care

I have a couple and they won't put my Springfield RO into slide lock. No problems with Tripp or Wilson mags though. No problems with the cheap Brownell 10 round mags that I use for practice either.

I have a couple but had to touch up the follower with a file , would stick/bind sometimes ,
other than that , have been working great in my norinco np29

Bought them from a ex site sponser about 2 years ago

I'm looking to use them in an NP29 also. Going to buy them from the ex site sponsor that we do not speak of.

I used the Mec Gar mags in my NP 29 as the gun would not run 100% with the crappy Norinco mags. Ran 100% with Mec Gars.

Bought my first MecGar 1911 in 9mm a few months ago. I've put probably 400 rounds through it on the MecGar alone. It's frankly better than the "stock" magazines that came with the gun. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Running all 5 Mec-Gar magazines , 10 rounders in my 9mm Colt Competition 1911... Parked the factory Colt OEM magazines for the time being. I love the slightly extended 10 rounder that Mec-Gar makes. Bought them for around $30 from a board (used to be) Sponsor in the Vankleek Hill, ON area. nudge , nudge, wink , wink.... ;)

cheers

Used mine for the first time last week. They seemed to work much better than the stock remington mags in my R1 enhanced.
