Help with ID for belt loader

Can anyone ID this belt loader? Is it homemade ?

Can you advise what is width of the hopper, lengthwise? This would tell us the maximum OAL length of the cartridge?

Same with the diameter of the case at its widest point

Do you have any links or cases or ammunition with it? Does the case have any markings? Any markings anywhere?

Age or Approximate age?

Country it came from or that you think it came from. Its a "needle in a haystack question" NHQ

What is its history? How did you acquire it? Another NHQ

Its like a "scientific biology key". One must go down the key and see where you land

P.S. There is sort of a "homemade aura" about it

Looks very home made. The cartridge looks to be rimless and about 308 size.

With the needle on the far right side it was probably made to load cloth belts for the Browning 1919.

The hopper looks to be almost wide enough to take 30-06 as well so maybe it could do both. Interesting piece anyway.

I have one, about a dozen were brought in by a CGN member they are intended to load cloth belts for m1919.

I think all in it was about 1K ish, but be forewarned they can be finicky.

Well I was gonna ask $300 for mine. Should sell at that.
