Sig p226 Tacops in Canada

Does anyone have this pistol?

I have been watching reviews and in the states they get the nice 20 round mags with beefy buttplates to fit in the big tacops magwell..

It seems most stores that sell the Tacops ship it with lame basic 10 rounders WITHOUT the nice tacops +2 floorplates/buttplates whatever they are called.

Can we get these nice mags in canada? or can we buy the little +2 floorplates and put them on the stock mags that come with the gun?

Its such a nice pistol and with the beefy plates they would be nice and easy to grab and reload into the big magwell for ipsc.

Anyone have experience with this model>?
 
I don't know if anyone is willing to go to the trouble of pinning the proper ones, and/or bringing in the floor plates since they don't do anything that isn't cosmetic. Given the cost of Sig mags to start with, paying someone to pin them would likely make them too expensive, or raise the cost of the gun even more than the crap dollar already does.
 
The gun itself is very nice--I have read that some don't like sights.

As far as the mags, I think Northern Republic Magazines carries the mags to which you are referring.
 
nice! I see you are correct... but jeez they aren't cheap haha.

Can i ask what you've heard about the sights? I've only read good things...

If you want to swap the sights out, they are not the most common configuration(keep in mind our gun is about 3 years old, so they may have changed the sights since then). If you like them as is, no worries.
 
I bought this gun 4 years ago and it's been my fav gun. I actually like the sights more
Then my dads legion, maybe just personal preference. It's a great gun. Maybe IRGuns
Can get you the mags you want?
