Here is a couple pics of mine. dar22 receiver, bolt, 16" dlask xtreme barrel bentz chamber, every other internal part is kidd. Titan stock. I attached a 5 shot group form 50 yards I did about a month ago with tenex .185". Scary thing is it likes x-act even more. This might be up for sale soon! New project

Nitride 12.5" barrel
Integrated rail
Blackhawk Axiom stock at 1.2 lbs
Mft minimalist butt stock
Leupold 2-7x28 @ 8 oz
Leupold rings
They tuned up the trigger to a crisp 2.5 lbs
Maple leaf charge handle
Not pictured is the NEA single gill compensator......because.....recoil.
I put this together for my son to keep the weight low as well as closer to him with the shorter barrel. The adjustment stock is nice also as it quickly adjusts lop for all family members.

Overall very happy with this gun, unfortunately I do not have any pictures of groups for you right now but will try to update in the future.
But after I zeroed at 50 yards I was quite happy with my 10 round groups. Right around an inch.
I was using CCI 32 gains and remington bucket of bullets as this is more for my son and I wanted to ensure it would cycle crap.

Here's mine, dlask receiver, bolt, v block, and charging handle. Along with a Kidd ultralightweight barrel.
ps. Bx is pinned (before I hear about it from 15 people lol)

nice nice!

one of those new Hogue stocks i see.
ive been wanting to get my hands on one of those and try them out, i really like the original overmolded ones so im thinking ill like those even better!

I call her "Vera". Everything is Dlask (apart fro the accessories, obviously) and I swapped out the trigger-pack for a Timney. Dlask does do nice trigger work on the stock Ruger trigger however.

I have 2 dlask builds both are super reliable and accurate. Liking mine so much, My brother got their cerakote barrelled action, Put a factory Ruger bolt and "guts" in it, because he had a spare 10/22... The gun did not fire worth a crap, stovepiping ect.. very unreliable and was shaving the lead and scratching the cases. He contacted dlask and they would not warranty anything because he did not get a full build. I was a bit disappointed in dlask actually, they wanted full shop rate for repairs($110/hr) and $40 fee to test fire once he shipped it back to them. It has been an unsatisfactory purchase for him so far. He is an ultra capable home gun smith also so it should have nothing to do with his bolt installation ...

Aren't stovepipes usually bolt/extractor related? Why would they warranty something they didn't sell him?

ya that is what im thinking too.
kinda curious why your brother would put out the money to get a top of the line receiver and barrel then put crap on the inside.
he is 90% there, just tell him to put a Kidd or Dlask bolt/extractor in it and hes golden.

I agree with what you guys are saying. I said the same thing about buying it all at once. I think being low on funds and having the spare parts kicking around what he was wanting to do is : buy the action( while there was availability of the colour he wanted)!then get the bolt/springs charging handle in another order. Anyways let's say the stovepipes are being chalked up to Ruger bolt. How do you explain the lead shavings? He's pretty sure there is a burr in the chamber. Being as competent as he is im sure he will figure it out. I was excited for him to shoot the thing, because I love my 2 builds. Kind of a let down really. Nothing like the quiet dispair of a guy whose .22 isn't working for ####. Lol

I own a bunch of DAR22 stuff: 3 receivers, one barrel, a bunch of charging handles, and some small stuff like bolt buffers and action screws. And it's been nice that they carry Kidd stuff I can order.

Here's a pic of my favourite build, just finished redoing the bedding, and gave it a 2-stage KIDD trigger.

These are some earlier results where I just squeaked by in the 50 yd rimfire challenge; I plan on giving it another go with this rifle, and with my other nice DAR22 based rifle.

My thoughts about DAR22 stuff:

Pros:
- I just love the design of the receivers with the integrated rail. It's so frikkin' strong, so much thick aluminum. The picatinny rail that extends past the receiver is very useful for getting my scopes mounted comfortably, especially with one-piece scope mounts that are less flexible about mounting position (see the pic above). Two of my three receivers have the 30 MOA cant in the integrail rail, which is perfect for long range shooting. One of my receivers (I think it's the second canted receiver) is made of 7075 aluminum, which is pretty sweet.
- My two receivers with cant got a Shilen 16" and a Dlask 12" (sporter chamber) barrel. Fit was very tight, which while making installation challenging (making sure I had good alignment with the extractor cutout, and then in the end both needed a 2-ton arbor press to fully seat the barrel into the receiver), the fit is likely a very good contributor to accuracy. While of course I use v-blocks, the barrels are in so tight I honestly doubt they need them.
- My Shilen and Dlask builds shoot well; the Shilen already passed the 50 yd challenge, and the Dlask barreled gun was looking very good with SK Rifle Match last time I was out, so I need to go back out with some more Rifle Match and Center X.
- Fun to have a factory 12" barrel (which we can't get from 'Murica)! And in stainless which I like.
- I like the charging handles, and their newer versions are made in such a way that changing springs is a little bit easier.
- Bolt buffers and action screws are nice. I found for my stocks (two Tactical Solutions Vantage RS stocks and one Victor Titan) I needed to shorten the screws by about 40 thou, but that's easy for any amateur home gunsmith.
- Maple leaves on my receivers and charging handles!

Cons:
- On my second canted receiver (with the Dlask 12"), the last part of the picatinny rail is about half the width it ought to be (ie it's some millimeters too short in the direction towards the muzzle, compared to my other two receivers). It's not a concern unless I was using the very last picatinny slot, but it's still an oversight.
- The Dlask sporter chamber barrel has a tight chamber! The first two times out it didn't feed and eject reliably with Winchester Dynapoints and 555, but it did with a variety of match ammo. The third time out it did generally work reliably, although it was still a noticeably tight chamber. And that third time out it was also starting to really shine in my hands with SK Rifle Match, so I'm excited to get it out again. It'll probably continue to get smoother with further use. This being the sporter chamber (not their tighter option) I was surprised, since I never experienced this with my Shilen barrel.
- My third rifle has a non-canted, integral rail receiver, with a Ruger factory barrel. (I wanted one gun capable of shooting anything, like Velocitors, etc). The fit of the barrel to the receiver is quite loose, doesn't make much contact, although it's fine once the v-block is tightened. I know it's tough to match things up between different manufacturers, and the fault could just as easily be with Ruger. I didn't measure the barrel channel in this receiver. The rifle still shoots nice.

Summary:
- I like my Dlask stuff!

EDIT: I'm a fan of my Vantage RS Stocks, give them a look. I got mine a while ago at Wholesale Sports.

the shaving of the lead is the bolt as it slides over the round below the round its stripping off.
that is typically a magazine issue - improper seating or seated too high in my experience.

or

if could be the lead as its going into the barrel is catching.
again since there are no feed ramps on a 10/22 its a bolt and magazine issue.

at the end of the day looking for a burr in the chamber should be pretty easily done.
ive always found the DLASK receivers to be super clean and smooth on the inside compared to the stock Rugers and all the over spray from the paint that they have.

if/when he inspects the chamber for burrs, if he finds nothing have him work the bolt back and forth a couple times with a full mag and watch on the inside to see if the bolt is running on the next round, should be pretty easy to see if it is, or if the round is hitting the side of the barrel when going in, both should be easy to see.

if that is the case then different mag or a adjustable mag will fix the issue. (adjustable like the Tactical Innovations ones)

hope that helps.
i had that same issue with a stock ruger and finding a mag that it liked fixed the issue.
