I got them from reliable gun, not sure the brand of the LAR-15 extensions. They are black injection molded, I added blue exterior painters tape to help identify my mags when on the ground.

Gabriel, my mount is much much lower than yours. You see where you stuck the bottom swivel mount on. I cut a hole in the brim, then placed the camera mount only (the camera cover) inside the brim, and secured the other side with a similar sized screw through the bottom of the camera mount (underside of the hat). like this video https://youtu.be/rG1HzonMVDc

I see now. With your method you're getting the camera at least one inch closer to eye level. I'll probably won't see you again before you leave. So best of luck. It's been good shooting with you.
