Looking at purchasing a Walther PPQ M2, but it seems in Canada all you can get is that silly threaded barrel, or the 5" model.....Im looking for advice on how I would go about ordering one and getting a 4.2" barrel for it (aftermarket I'd assume)

Currently own a really nice G19, but I cant get over that Pinocchio nose !!!

Thanks in advance!

Jarvis makes them. Have an importer bring it in. Prophet River would be most economical if importing barrel alone. I ended up buying a 4" PPQ from IRUNGUNS and had them swap the barrel after Jarvis shipped it to them.

Just checked Jarvis website, and don't see any option for a 4.2 or 4.25, in 9mm exclusively? jumps from 4 inch, to 4.6 inch (same as current barrel), in 9mm?

Phone them or email and ask about 106mm barrel. They are familiar with our requirements and I wasn't their first Canadian customer.

Thanks. I really should look into it. Hopefully the total cost in hand isn't too extreme. Will have to look into the overall wait time, as well. I do predict my M2 Navy looking bad ass, with a 106mm barrel, that's for sure!

There are quite a few gunsmiths in Canada who will re-crown your barrel for around $75. Find a good one, get the barrel cut back to 106mm (no threads) and get a match crown. Problem solved, money saved, accuracy improved. I personally believe re-crowning threaded barrels improves accuracy. It does for me, but maybe the barrel is more accurate because I believe it will be.
