I am hoping for some experiences and opinions on the bushnell rimfire 3-12x40 scope. I thinking on one for my savage bmag. I have a cheap tasco 2.5-10x42 on it now which works but like something a little better trying to stay under $200. The tasco has the target turrets which I like so that's part of the reason I'm looking at the bushnell. Any experiences or opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

I have a Banner 3x9xsomething and it has served me well for the last 3 years and 1000s of rounds from 10m to 200m. The 3x12x40 you are looking for is a good choice. Adjustable parallax and tactical turrets are great.

If I had to buy again, i'd buy the 4x12x40 instead of my banner

I just got one. Used it twice so far. Scope looks great and turrets feel ok for such a low price. I went with it because i want to dial a lot with my 22 lr and bushnell mecanics is supposed to be good. There is no rev counter on the turrets so you need to keep track of where you are

Thanks for the replies.comments Sound good so far. Vince, hopefully not being to much of a pain bit was wondering if you could possibly measure the diameter of the rear eyepiece?I put a 4-12 banner I had on it and with the weird bolt the bmags have even with high Leupold rings the bolt handle rubs the scope. The tasco is a little slimmer, that's why I put it on for the time being, and just trying to figure out if I need to order extra high rings as well.
