milsurp alert!! - check this out!

Those are the guys that bought them on impulse. Keep these in your safe for a while. If no more are imported and these are that rare then they will go up in value. Get your hands on one now if you can.

Every milsurp goes up in price in the long run... I was preaching a K31 price jump, a M39 price jump, a YUGO M59/66 price jump etc... many mocked me... LOL

These will go up along with every other milsurp, you can count on that. However these are more of a niche item, however due to their small numbers I think we can see a steady price increase. To have imported one from Europe yourself would have placed the price higher than these are currently selling for.

I of course expect the value to go up. I'm just curious how many buy an item like this to add to the collection vs. Holding as an investment. Not that either is a bad thing.

Can you guys please post a picture of how the bayo is pinned to the barrel?

This is from a Russian web site, you can see the pin which prevents the rotation of the bayonet base, I could not tell you if that pin has spring tension to keep it locked down..

I said I wasn't going to buy one, but then I did. Got mine yesterday it's in great condition overall, but definitely has the wartime production look. All parts are matching, it has a 3A prefix.

The stock has some minor in letting for the bayonet, but I don't think it was necessary, the bayonet would have locked up regardless. Considering the inletting isn't quite in the right spot.

What do you mean by spring tension?

If you mean the pin, no, it's an interference fit and has to be beat in/out with a punch. The bayonet itself is spring-loaded like an M44 or SKS.

These bayonet assemblies were not meant to ever be removed.

The one that was on ee is sold already. Not a single btt required.

not surprised.

It's like the democrats in the USA wishing Ossof could beat Handel just because they spent $30M on TV ads that everyone Tivo's past, and that Alissa Milano would drive you to a poll station.

Wishing a rare rifle will not rise in price is a self-serving and naive fantasy.
