Does anyone know where I can get a CZ 452 .22Lr varmint stock?

I had my beloved 452 varmint in .22lr in a hard case that I had ratchet strapped to the rack of my dual purpose bike. Ripping home from the range on a forestry road, I managed to crack the stock:( The case was one I got free with my fabarm and obviously (retrospect is wonderful, isn't it!) was too flimsy, combined with tightening the straps too much, and more than likely too high a speed on too bumpy a road, and now I'm paying the price.

Anyone have any suggestions on finding a replacement stock for it? If I can find an original walnut one at a reasonable price I'll go that direction, however might be tempted by either the Manners MCS T-4CZ or the McMillan CZ M40A22 if i could find either of them.

Any advice at all will be appreciated.

Well, that certainly sucks. Attempting to repair/refinish would probably be what I would do first. Whether or not I stuck with that? Good question. I'd probably look at Boyd's first (for cost reasons) but from what I understand, you can order any of their stock styles made in solid walnut as an option~if you didn't care for the look/weight of the laminate.

Check with Calgary Shooting centre. I do recall seeing a few Boyd's stocks in a cabinet last time I was there. Not sure model though.

Thanks for the head's up. They've got a couple on the website for 455s, but nothing in a 452. I'm thinking I'll just order direct from the manufacturer and get exactly what I want. The at-one in nutmeg is calling my name. Not exactly a traditional CZ style stock, but I'm thinking it'll suit my needs fairly well...

Seems there have been a rash of CZ busted stawks.
They cammoe'in bawllzsah wood for these?

How many in a "rash"? Two?

For the OP, the thing to do if you are determined on a factory stock is put a WTB ad on the EE. Alternatively, you can get a Boyds stock for the CZ 452 Varmint, available in laminate, or as noted above, in walnut. The laminate stocks are available in different configurations (Pro Varmint is very good for bench shooting) and different colours.
