yeah that is correct, i forgot the 308 had slightly less taper, barrel would have to be set back, or perhaps run the improved version. which usually is not worth the trouble

Gday mate, I think you are right, its THE same as the Whelen in power department, but in the Tikka its almost as light as my Kimber Montana 7mm08.. Initially a T3 with a custom 35 Whelen barrel would be my Go, regarding having all the Reloading gear for it... but a Tikka platform, in a ballistic twin of the Whelen just makes sense over the "pumped up" 308 being the 338 Federal!

232gr is closer to 250 than 210 but il look at 250gr Woodleighs!

yeah, has a pack of ciggerette in the top pocket, one on the lip, a can of VB or ###X in the other hand, generally needs a wash and some new clothes but most commonly seen slinging 9.3x62s
