Glock Released Photos of its Modular Handgun System Entries

If you're suggesting that changing out an entire plastic frame is better then adding a simple back strap, then I think you're seriously deluded. The frame on the P320 is a cheap horrid pile of s#!t!

Glock's version of a changeable back strap is a poor second fiddle to the M&P's - never mind replacing the entire grip structure, and dust cover.

The interchangeable back strap is the industry norm... Glock, as far as I know, is the only one that gives you the option of the beavertail as well. It's not relevant for me, I don't us them. But for users that do, and Law Enforcement Agency's/Military's that use these guns, changing a backstrap is a much better option than stocking different sizes of an entire frame. It's just a stupid idea, and the frame on the P320 is horrible because of that.

Glock logo as the avatar picture - another unbiased opinion. ;)

Looks like a Glock 19 slide paired to a Glock 17 grip.

Finger grooves are gone, hopefuly it transpires on the Gen 5. But that manual safety... I understand its was on the requirement list, but it doesnt belong there... Well at least that will make hayday feel safer around Glocks :p

LMAO, talk about retro, perhaps the infantry will ride horses again....

SOF units use landyards a lot for riding in choppers or boats. Kind of hard to pick up your pistol at 1000ft above the ground or below sea level :p

Sig entered a full-size and a compact pistol into the MHS competition, Glock did not. They entered a Glock with a '17 frame and a shorter '19 slide. The safety, lanyard loop and colour were all requested by the US for the MHS program.

Also, the reason the slide and frame aren't the same colour is because one's plastic and one's steel, like most new lightweight piston rifles and pistols with plastic frames. Depending on the light it's near impossible to match the colours.

Edit: Sig actually won the contract because they underbid Glock by over $100,000,000, which is insane and why they are selling their pistols for $217 a pop or something. They lost to Beretta more than 30 years ago because they got underbid just a little bit, looks like they didn't want it to happen again lol.
