So I finally got my first AR out to the range today. Put around 300 rounds through it. Wasn't really going for accuracy, just having some fun with a few new shooters I brought with me. Everything was going fine, had one dud round (decent primer strike, barnal) but then much later, I couldn't pull the trigger. Pulled the charging handle and tried again, wouldn't move. Opened it up to look at the trigger, wiggled it, still wouldn't pull. The RSO looked at it and we kinda noticed at the same time one of the trigger pins had walked a bit. Pushed it back and was good to go again. Ran another hundred rounds through it with no other problems. Anyone else ever seen this? Is there a way to make sure it doesn't happen again? New lpk?

Which pin walked? There is only one trigger pin. The other is the hammer pin.
Make sure the pins are inserted correctly, and that the spring legs are in the correct place, the trigger pin is held in place by one of the hammer spring legs, and the hammer pin is held in place by the J spring, which is inside the hammer.
If the trigger pin walked, the hammer spring possibly wasn't sitting correctly. If the hammer pin walked, then the J spring in the hammer may be faulty or missing.
It could be possible that the pin is out of spec, which is a cheap and easy replacement.
If the lower receiver holes are out of spec, as it is a new gun, just get it replaced, don't bother monkeying around with anti-walk pins, they should only ever be used in a few specific cases, as they are not necessary if everything is in spec.

Haven't experienced that yet. I'm maybe 500 rounds in and I had one double feed last weekend, mind you that was a mag problem not a rifle problem
If it was the trigger pin, and it is no longer moving, it is probably because it wasn't properly installed when assembled.
You can confirm that the hammer spring legs are sitting on top of the trigger pin and that one of the legs is sitting in the groove of the trigger pin, holding it in place, by opening the receiver and looking into the lower.
While you are doing that, take a look at the trigger spring legs, and make sure that they are nicely spread toiching both sides of the receiver walls, or as near to them as possible.
You also might want to take a look at the staking on both the castle nut/end plate, and the gas key, as those are two areas that might also be in need of attention.
Oh, and forget about the KNS anti-walk pins, you don't need them.
