....... right after the 760 pump.![]()
When I think Ontario deer hunting I see 760's and 7600's not sure why though
So of the two you've got that browning pump is uber cool
....... right after the 760 pump.![]()
Take them both and change up every couple of days. Just don't forget to change your ammo too.
Olie chit...........awl-yew-awll.
Take the one with the bettermint trigger.
That tawp one is a pumpie gun?
Looky like a BAR?
Superbrad, you hate levers?
OMG, I don't know if we can still be friends! How the heck would we have 'won the west' without levers? What about John Wayne, didn't you love him as a kid? OMG OMG OMG, I can't believe I just read you don't like levers!
Wait, you said HATE, OMG I can't believe it!
A devastated Jay!
Oh, and which one do you hate more, my 35 Rem or 30-30? (Chuckle)

A marlin 336ss with the wwg trigger happy and wolff spring kits installed.
Leupold vx2 2-7x32mm scope ideal for both brush and field.
The wwg is a better trigger than any blr trigger made and you don't need any more power than a 30-30 win to kill a deer.
Mine likes the factory rem 170 grain core lokt ammo.
The core lokts perform well at 30-30 velocities.
How accurate does that browning pump shoot? I seem to remember a series of ads from the 90's or so they did for the BAR, BLR, & BPR. Always thought those were nice looking rifles
I always bring two guns no matter what
I plan on installing the WWG trigger in both mine...
Agreed that the 30-30 is plenty horsepower to kill a deer & I have seen it take a moose cleanly as well.
Cheers
Jay
I hate the 30-30 more.... lol.....
From my experience, the 30-30 lever is the tool of the ultimate fudd..... it's the cheapest "deer rifle" money can buy and is crafted for the "one box of ammo lasts five years" crowd, that sights in and says "good enough".....
That being said, I have no doubt that the 30-30 can be very effective when used within its limitations.... I just see countless threads about stretching it out.....
Have you looked in a gun store in the past decade? This is totally false.
True.... but that is a very recent trend.....
The "cheapest "deer rifle" money can buy" was the old 303 post WWII by a long shot.
The mossberg 464 is the cheapest new deer gun I've seen on the racks.
you're forgetting the sks.
