Semi Auto PPSH-41 in canada?

Tnw removed all their tooling for the ppsh receivers last year and got rid of it Lance told me. (I had asked about maybe getting some recievers made up)
I asked him where it went and if someone else was going to continue production but he said he didn't know.

So the Tooling is being sold to another company that will continue production? That means we should see a few of them come out in a couple of years or so?

Lance didn't say who got the tooling or if anyone had plans to continue production, all he said was he showed up at the shop one day and it was all being hauled away....
we can hope that someone else will use it to continue making the ppsh but as was said above it would have to get a new frt number and who knows if the rcmp would let it pass or not
It was my understanding that TNW was making the guns for Military gun supply as they were the ones who sold the ppsh 41 in the US.

Maybe Military gun supply just took back their tooling? we will probably never know for sure.

Receiver for ppsh 41 can be made by any shop out of any kind of metal. No machining is needed for it, if any one look at how its made then its clear how Russians made millions of them during the war at different plants across the country.
Its just a metal tub with holes cut in to it. So what ever the story with tnw equipment is,it was probably not for making receivers.

the rcmp bounced back and forth we me a few years ago as to what part was the receiver the top half or the bottom. for a while it was the top then the bottom. then I gave up as I could see they would just change the rules of the game as I tried to play.....

Im guessing they would choose the bottom as it would be a lot harder to make
