Lever guys

I have a browning 86 carbine 45/70 and a miroku winchester 1895 carbine in 30/06 that I use for deer hunting both great deer guns.I also have a uberti 66 sporter in 22mag that I use for hunting

I have a model 94 circa 1920 in 30-30, a 94 big bore in 356 win and a savage 99 F in 300 savage. Both the 356 and the 300 have Williams foolproof peep sights with brass Skinner front blade sights. I prefer the 99 for walking round. Very light at around 6.5 lbs and enough reach for any shooting I may encounter in my hunting area.
 
Been a lever guy for along time! But also have bolt actions, anyway here is my latest buy
Made in 1947 Marlin 1893 with a very nice bore,30-30 cal. can't wait to shoot her! 26in. barrel.

I love my levers probably won't buy another gun that isn't a lever

the ubiquitous Win 94 in 30-30

Marlin 1895 MXL in 45-70

Savage 99's in 250-3000 and 308

Browning BLR in 243, 308, 325 WSM and 450 Marlin, have my eye on a 7mmmag
 
Introducing the LR15. A quick-handling lever-action magazine-fed rifle. Takes standard AR15 pattern magazines. Tons of fun and cheap to shoot. Deadly for varmints and medium game at close range. Non-restricted.

Ok ok.. It's not available yet.. I just designed it with some low-grade photoshop work.. But someone build this! I want one!

Wow! Some great levers herein. I started with a model 94 30-30 and will finish with one - preference for the carbines. Only bolt here is a WW11 8mm Mauser direct from the battlefield. Hammer guns just seem to be more compatible for southpaws.

The wood stock I don't mind, the bottom belongs in the same trash pile as the mossberg levers lol
 
You all aren't nice. Now I'm shopping for a lever gun. I spent yesterday playing with a 58 94 32 special.

So far I'm thinking Uberti 1873 357 mag
Some sort of 92 pattern in 357 or 44
Henry case colored 30/30
And maybe a Henry 45/70 all weather
 
The last three! 1947 Marlin 1893 26in barrel, 1953 Winchester model 64 24in barrel, 1987?? Winchester trapper model 94AE 16in. barrel.

I love them. They are light weight and quick-to-aim. When he wasn't using it, I hunted with my late father's Model 94 32 Spec in my younger years. However, one day while hunting with a good friend, we were crouching and weaving through a thick alder patch. When we came out on the other side, we paused for a smoke. When I leaned the 94 against a young fir I noticed that the hammer had been bumped back from the safe to the fire position. The hammer must have bumped against an alder on our way through. That was the last time I hunted with it. Additional safeties on lever guns in later years have been a good thing
 
That's a good looking 64 you have badbrass. I inherited my grandpas 64 last year and been thinking of having it restored as 30-40+ yrs hanging over the door of his barn in the southern Manitoba red river flood plain have taken some toll on it
