Fellas,

Can't find an answer anywhere, what's the difference between the ERS and LRS?

I can find tons of info comparing the DMR, ERS, and XRS but nothing between the L and E.

Is the LRS just the newer model as I only see LRS on Bushnell's website but other sites are still selling the ERS (Amazon, US sites, etc.). Most sponsors here are showing LRS too.

Basically looking at the ET6245F but the model number returns both ERS and LRS (and about 300 bucks difference).

ET6245F is 6-24*50, mil turrets, mildot reticle, FFP, with Ill. reticle. I have one.

As far as I knew, the ERS was one of the versions of the 3.5-21x50

Thanks for the info, seems there's a lot of inaccurate listings out there as both the ERS and LRS models are showing a 30mm tubes so I couldn't tell the difference other than the price.

A follow up question, some sites will have the ET6245FG model listing the G2DMR recticle while others say G2 with Horus Technology. I'm assuming those are 2 different recticles under the same model number?

Tough to buy these if your LGS doesn't carry this type of stuff regularly in stock and can't view first hand.

It would seem that some sellers either don't know what they are selling, or are engaging in questionable sales practices.

I'd strongly recommend calling Omer, at Precision Optics. His prices are competitive, he's a CGN sponsor, and he will give you straight answers to any questions you may have on Bushnell scopes.

Thanks for the help Peter, I was there but couldn't find the model above on the Bushnell site as an ERS only as a LRS so when other sites were calling it an ERS (but still showing 30mm), I was worried it was an older discontinued model which I didn't want.

go to: http://bushnell.com/tactical/riflescopes/elite-tactical

ERS is 34mm.
LRS are 30mm except for 10X40 which is 1".

We recommend that you look at manufacturers site.

Best regards,

Peter

Only problem is that Bushnell's site isn't always very accurate either.
Until I called them and asked them "what's up?", they were listing the ET6245F as having 24mil of elevation and windage adjustment.
They have since corrected it to 19mil of elevation and 13mil of windage.
