Taxidermist Recomendations - Ontario

Looking for taxidermist recommendations, specifically for bird mounts. I'm located in Ontario between Toronto and Kingston, so a Thunder Bay location won't really be helpful.

I'm looking for most skilled and artistic, not least expensive or fastest. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hands down Steve Dingman............ he is top notch and for his work his prices are reasonable. Def worth checking out. He only does waterfowl and raptors.

For every Taxidermists recommendation there are three opinions.
Good, Bad or otherwise...
It is best to speak with the taxidermist while visiting the showroom.
I have used a guy here in BC exclusively and have no regrets, but others do for various reasons.
From price to turn around time, but I find birds do take from 10 to 14 months and that appears to be the norm in my experience.
Enjoy the mount when it returns.

Claire tricky is down in southern Ontario. Very nice work. She's been winning a lot of awards. Absolute pleasure of a lady to deal with.

Steve is solid for sure, had a few done by him over the years. Owl maker taxidermy is another to look at...Arnold does some fantastic work. I've got some birds waiting at his shop to be done right now.

If money is not a real concern than Advanced Taxidermy in Caledon. They do a lot of work for places like Cabelas and Bass Pro. Last time I was in there he was doing a 30 foot whale reproduction for someone rich guy who had the space to display it.

X2 Advanced taxidermy did two mallards for me last year they turned out amazing well worth the time and money. You only get what you pay for. Very pleasant to deal with and an amazing showroom to browse

I had by bear rug done by Advanced taxidermy. Excellent work and the two owners are great guys that will answer ant questions.

They are busy and will likely take at least a year to be completed, they gave me a tour of their operation, they have an awesome showroom. A++ work

X2 Ron has done my bear,deer, and waterfowl. He workmanship is some of the best. Highly recommend.

He did a fantastic job on my wild turkey mount but have to admit I was disappointed with the Canada Goose I got back. To be fare I'm not sure he did the work on it, however it came from his shop. Like I said though, the turkey was great.
