CZ EVO S1 Scorpion *UPDATE*

The silence.....*cricket*. I hope they are being ready for shipment. I got all the goodies here, new trigger/charging handle, a new burris fastfire3 all ready to be put on as soon as that cardboard box comes thru my front door.

If I had something to say I would say it apologies! Mr Wolverine is out of this office this morning but when he is back in I will ask for some info if we have heard anything.
 
Would really like to know if it has the double 1/2x28 and 18x4 thread pitch, if not I hope you guys will have adaptors for sale ,lol.

I have been working on this project for years and it is turning out to be one of the most frustrating and disappointing. I e-mailed CZ this morning for another update. As soon as I have some hard facts I will report here, there is no point in me speculating.

The reply I received this morning, 11th July from CZ.

Hi John,

I guess we will be able to send shipment in August. We are still waiting for 5rnd magazines.

I will let you know.

^^^^ think there is a typo in your reply :) I think you are talking about the 11 July reply from CZ not 11 Aug.


but I have a nice chunk of back pay that the pay office tried to direct deposit to an account I closed 3 months ago, when that shows up again it will be burning a hole in my pocketbook. So all these delays seem to be working out, and my delivery window is the first 2 weeks of September :)

things are lining up. and no one is going to have to spill coffee and get lunch crumbs all over my new Cz.... :)

Appreciate very much all the work you've done to introduce the CZ EVO S1 into our market. Can only imagine how frustrating this gets dealing with people on both sides of the fence.

I do find the commend about '5 round magazines' a little concerning though, especially considering there are already standard capacity pinned magazines in this market. CZ is not helping to clear up the magazine situation with this last message (unless you have any further insight?).

Will continue to wait to see how this plays out and what actually physically arrives in your warehouse.
 
It does seem odd that a company CZ can't seem to figure out how to pin the mags to 5 rounds when it is commonly being done elsewhere. I sure hope they are not designing some horrible 5 round only magazine specifically for us...
 
I don't know why they just don't ship the guns with no mags. We can source mags elsewhere until they do it themselves.
