Hey all,

I've got enough parts to start building a 338lm on a savage target action. I was wanting to get a start on it this weekend but I don't have a go guage for 338lm. Does anyone have one that I can buy, or borrow ?

If you have brass, dies and a press and are ready to load for it, you can safely set the headspace using a fully sized case from your dies and press... it may not be set to the standard but it will work fine for you with your brass.
 
I had considered doing that but I wasn't sure if that would be frowned upon. I'll probably end up doing that as finding a go guage is proving difficult.

Wolverine supplies has them for $574.99 LOL.
 
Brownells lists Manson .338 gauges @US$30. That would be about C$75 delivered. Or just call Dave Manson and order one.

They work for the standard belted magnum cases only... absolutely useless for anything else...
