Some designs (AR15) stand the test of time, others (such as the Bushy) - not so much...I had one a while back, it's a nightmare to strip down for cleaning. Clearly was made for a civilian market.

Referring to the FS2000 or X95?
FS2000. Haven't shot my x95 yet. Its about to get a SBR overhaul![]()
It's still a piece of junk along with everything else Norinco churns out.My T97 beats my TAR21 in the accuracy department all the time. Same ammo. Same bench setup. Same optic.
Nice! You should post pics and a report when done![]()
Yes, pics are definitely a must!
Maybe I should clarify. SBR all but the barrel as I am still waiting on IWI.us to produce the 13" barrel for the x95.
When a get a PDW barrel made then I will really have something to show!
In the mean time a custom shroud will be the winner.

Norincos are the only rifles that ascribes to "barn-spec", so you pays for what you gets...That cannot be since it is a well known fact on CGN that the more you pay for a firearm means that is it automatically more reliable and more accurate than a cheaper one, that is obviously a piece of junk (Usually Norinco!), otherwise you would not be able to shoot half MOA groups all day with surplus ammo!
If your budget is what's holding you back on a Tavor or X95 try one of these

I've never tried one but it has to be better than a Norinco

I never said it was more reliable. I said it was the more accurate rifle (from personal experience). Truth be told, my T97 was plagued with the double feed/FTF/FTE issues last year. I sent it back for repair. I've put about 4000 rounds through it since (give or take a hundred). Not a single issue since. I have had this strange issue with my Tavor though, where at random times, the bolt won't hold open after last shot. That's neither here nor there though, as both are performing on par right now.
