So I ordered one for a build, but I can't find any info at all on them.

Here's the spec on them:

•Chamber: 5.56 NATO, also called 5.56x45
•1:7" twist rate
•For 0.750" gas blocks
•1/2"-28 muzzle threads
•4150 Chrome-Moly Vanadium barrel steel
•QPQ Melonite (black nitride) finish inside and out
•Button Rifled
•Made in the USA

Anyone here have any experience, or know anything about the company?

Canadian National Arms Barrels.... Made in the USA.... something's not right.

Based on True North Arms website it appears that CNA is merely the "dealer" name for a company offering US built barrels. Still sounds fishy. TNA also sells knock off Keymod handguards and knock off Atlas bipods so I would expect nothing less.

I wonder if these aren't supplied by the same manufacturers that supply barrels for NEA, SFRC, or for Canada Ammo's new US made AR.

I'll issue a full report when the build is complete, but the mystery remains.

Probably are.

That being said my Dominion Arms 14.5" lightweight barrel (from Canada ammo) is holding up well after 2k rounds. All sub-100 yard shots, but very accurate. No sense in paying 2-3x for a barrel if you are going to run 3-gun/tac rifle events. A precision Ar, yes, but my $100 barrel performs just as well as expensive barrels sub-100 yard.

I can't get that barrel to fit in any of my uppers. What brand of upper are you using with that 14.5 DA barrel.
Thanks

I have a 12.5" and am pleased with it. No problems after about 300 rounds. Went on an Anderson MFG A3 upper with an Anderson BCG. Did a little search and it seems to be made by Gorilla Machining in Florida using E.R Shaw custom barrel blanks. YMMV but the specs on the Gorilla page match the description on TNA's website.

Nothing bad to say about TNA either.

Those are Anderson barrels,i bought one of the ar10 barrels,it's a great barrel for under 200....and considering it shoots the same as my $500 Rainer,I know which one I would buy again.

The 12.5" I bought is not an Anderson. The 18" barrel I bought is an Anderson

Sorry I missed this.

A s&w mp 15 (bought last year before the prices dropped :( )

Required 6 seconds of heat from a butane torch on the upper to fit the barrel. The barrel was 1.00" wide on the mark, the upper was 0.98 (or something close).

No amount of force made it fit, a light torch and it's snug and accurate. Will likely need heat to remove it too, it's in there good - the factory barrel just required a bit of torque.
