ADVICE?-small handed wife looking for a 9mm semi with small grip

Glock 26, 27, Sig P239, etc. Even Sig320 in a subcompact configuration could work.

Keep us posted what you decide to go with -

Cheers,

Cheap, reliable, and a very small grip; Zastava M-70:

My petite wife went through a brace of SR9s before someone let her shoot his CZ Shadow. Now she owns a brace of them. She also has a few 1911s.

Hand size, schmand size - makes no never mind. I have very small hands and they are not a detriment to my gun handling or shooting. Adapt and overcome.

Trigger reach is a real issue, as is ergonomics. With all the choices of quality firearms there is no (other than economic) reason that one shouldn't choose a reliable pistol that suits them.

Went through this too. My wife is under 5 foot and small hands with very short fingers. In fact she needs gloves custom made. She found the trigger reach, small stippled grip panel, and lighter action spring (cocking force) to be ideal in a S&W M&P M2.0. So I bought one for her.

My first pistol was the HK P2000. I didn't like the paddle mag release, dug into my middle finger.
My wife loves the HK, softer shooting, and the paddle mag release doesn't bother her.

The SIG works for me.

You might also want to try the Glock G43 in 9mm.

I bought a Sig P226 Enhanced Elite so my daughter, all 5'3" or her, could shoot. The handles on my other guns were too big. Works like a damn for her.

The SIG P225 is a single stack 9mm that should have a small grip Circumference, though I don't know what it is. It is a little hard to find but is their classic single stack only available in Canada with a 4.4" bbl.

No one mentioned HK sfp9? One of the most comfortable pistols out there and is a bit smaller than its counterparts (m&p, glock etc.).

I just got a P226 with E2 grips and my barely over 5 foot tall wife seemed comfortable with it yesterday when I unboxed it.
