Cheaply made rifle .The trigger guard is stamped and the receiver has cut out for removing the bolt. Those cut outs are known to chip and render the rifle useless.

...like that feature or not, all of the Long Branches made after 1941 have that feature.

I agree about the stamped trigger guards. Not one of my favourite features.

Not for sale, it currently wears an Adley precision mount and a 4x12x40 Nikon and is my deer rifle. I've become quite attached to it, it cleaned up real nice.
