I an XCR. The FAST stock has a spot for a quick detach sling mount.

I have tried three differnet brands of QD mounts but they all pull out very easily. I guess the hole is either worn ( it does not look worn) or out of spec.

I have thought of epoxying one of them in so it wont pull out. Is this dumb? How much do you think it would effect re-sale?

Don't sell it. Problem solved. Epoxy will work fine. Crazy glue to for that matter.
 
Not an uncommon complaint.
I don't know the fix, as I don't like the FAST, so I tossed it.

I remember reading that qd studs are not standardized sizing. It doesn't make sense they wouldn't be, but I'd read it here, so it must be true. ;)
 
Seen a few on an XCR pull out (including on mine) as well as on few RA's. Unfortunately it is true.. they are not spec. Best to find out what the OEM recommends works best with "their" hole as it is certainly spec'd to someone's hardware if not proprietary.

Check out "Lucky Irishman Firearms" down south - that's where I got mine. They don't have a website (or at least they didn't) but they sell through their facebook page. Just remind them to ship USPS, as they shipped mine by courier and I consequently got screwed on import fees.
