You owe me a shot of auchentoshan 12 yo for that pic. Funniest thing I've seen in a while and scotch thru the nostrils burns dammit
Anyway. If a hi point is all that you can afford and you want to get shooting right now. Do it. They are reliable. Super cheap. They're ugly to me and I won't own one because honestly the look. But hey there are ppl out there that think Honda makes a real truck and look at how many smart cars are on the road. Dare to be different if you want to. Or save up a bit more. Either way the price of the gun soon becomes irrelevant and lost in ammo costs
At my range we hang up hi points to use as targets.
Not a fan of the Hi-Point pistols. $400 to $500 on ee will get you a quality gun.
But I have the Hi-Point carbine in both 9mm and 40. They work very well. I use them in competitions.
Hmmm, interesting I am going to have to look into the HP carbine now lol ! Do they use Glock mags and if I remember right, they are restricted?
Restricted by barrel length, though Herron Arms will put on a non-restricted barrel if you are willing to pay.
Not glock mags. Same mags as their pistols.
IMO, I wouldn't recommend a Tokarev for a new shooter, they are quite snappy and have poor sites. They definitely have a BANG factor and are economical and cheap to feed though.
Tokerav is a great gun, its cheap, ammo is cheap, has a little bit of snap and alot of fun to take to the range and blast away at targets. Better then any Hi point you can buy
