Quick pics of the Lithgow F90

I rather they fix their G36 (HK243) one and prohibit this one. It would even make more sense.

The way our elites are going I wonder when they will all just prohibit everything and our supposed allies will just conveniently keel over in are hour of greatest need lol.

This lithgow F90 would be awesome to own. I always wanted Alexander Gudonov's Aug from Diehard.

Me too!!! I always said I didn't want movies to influence my gun purchases.

Yeah, right!!! Tell that to my Beretta 92F....

Ok so the Mossberg Blaze .22 blowback is an AK variant based on the furniture.
But this is somehow not related to the Prohibited Aug?

It's still in the FRT pipeline. From what I understand (and I may be mistaken), there are significant changes made to the barrel trunnion and trigger system compared to the AUG, leading to zero parts interchangeability. How exactly this will be treated by the RCMP is hard to say.

Firstly, who is they? H&K and Lithgow are completely different companies with different importers. The H&K 243 was considered readily and easily convertible to fully automatic by the RCMP. So theoretically a redesigned trigger group would lead to a non-restricted classification.

Simply changing the attachment points of the existing trigger pack would accomplish that, but don't hold your breath - if it was redesigned, there'd be another reason, because "bad, scary guns"

If we are able to get these, what magazine configuration would you guys choose, standard or "NATO"?

I'd probably go standard as I don't already have any STANAG mags and the AUG mags are better and work better in the platform they were designed for by most accounts.

OTOH it seems as if the NATO F90 may have an X95 style mag release so that might be a plus.

As long as it takes Gen3 PMAGs I'm happy.

NATO, 'cuz LAR-15 pistol mags.

As others have said it could be prohibited and it may not.
Just like the Tavor it has lingerie to a F/A as do others
Maybe we just let the importer and the Lab do its thing ad see what happens
Bbb

This is disturbing. Can the gun be operated while wearing normal clothing, or is the lingerie somehow required for proper functioning?

You just have to swap out the stock for it to take AR mags.

How much do the stocks cost?

In any event, its not a certainty that they'll be readily interchangable on the F90, as there appears to be some key differences if this demonstration export model is any indication.

If only it were that simple....

My understanding of the lab report was that it could accept FA/Mil trigger packs, and so it was "easily converted (with impossible to get parts) to FA". If it could no longer accept the FA/Mil trigger group, that argument would vanish. Changing the attachment points on the receiver and trigger group would accomplish that.

Being easily convertible to auto is one path to prohibition.
Being a variant of a named prohibited firearm is another.
Just have to wait and see.
