300WINMAG and 167 grain lapua Scenar, which powder?

Hey all

Just purchased a new 300WINMAG and I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on which powder I should be using

I will be using 167 grain lapua Scenar bullets
24" barrel with 1:10 twist
Winchester large rifle magnum primers

This is not for hunting, just moa my way down the range on paper.

From the Hornady manual that I purchased, looks like IMR4350 would be the way to go, but I really value your guy's and gal's input here.

IMR4350 worked very well for me with several different 165gr bullets. I tried other powders and some were faster but none were more accurate. Tikka 695.
 
Just curious, why a 167gr? I also just bought a 300win for target shooting a few months ago and am planning to run Hornady 208gr HPBT, I've read that 190gr is a really good weight for the 300win as well but so far all I've shot is 180gr factory stuff.
 
I am working on a load for my Steyr 300WM with 167 Lapua and R22, 215M primer with 79.5 gr, i achieve an easy 3300 FPS with MOA result. fine tuning of the load to be completed... JP.

WOW! keep me posted on this load, would really appreciate it, I have the exact same parameters but with IMR4350, but I will switch powders if you having success with the RL22. I bought some IMR4350, but was actually on the fence between this and the RL22

For years, i had this 8 pounds of R22 and was not using it, my Steyr 300 WM gave me the oportunity... JP.
