Good Evening,

I have a Remington 14 that was my grandpa's deer rifle that i want to continue shooting. Full disclosure, i am a total noob at reloading (i am learning!).

I have been looking for brass to reload 32 remington available in canada. There are some suppliers in the US that sell them, but as we are in Canada that is a hassle that i would like to avoid. I have tried Ellwoods (they dont have any or know where to get any). I have some saved brass from some dominion boxes but i was getting roughly a 75% neck crack from them. Annealing will be the best chance of keeping the remainder for a few more firings I hope.

So any help would be appreciated. In the end if I must order from the US suppliers I will (also i dont have a lathe to form cases). Thanks in advance, i know these questions are asked every so often.

rusty wood trading co has 30 rem in stock and could be sized for the 32 rem ,or you could ask to get them to order the 32 rem also
cheers Peter

32 Rem can be made from 30-30 or 225 Winchester, but it is not a simple conversion - unless you happen to be competent on a lathe or have a friend who is a machinist, in which case it is a simple conversion. . The 30-30 rim needs to be turned down and an extractor groove cut, then F/L resize using 32 Remington sizing die.

I load both 30Rem and 32 Rem and as suggested above this is probably your easiest option to pursue, 30 Rem is easily formed into 32 Rem by simply running them through a full length 32 Rem die, lube the case neck well and take it easy. Also, keep an eye open for brass and ammo at gunshows. I picked up a pile of brand new old stock unprimed 32 Rem brass at one of our local shows awhile back.
