customizing my Chargers

We can see just how much design flaw for these to an extent that you need to go this far to stabilize the pistol. We hate the Chargers here as they effectively prevented every Canadian to own 25 rounders for our 10 22s.
I am just unsure why are you posting this here on CGN.

Is our site that great that Americans prefer it ?

We have a great site but they do not prefer our site. People like him come all the way here just to show off.

Many of us here started on and still participate over on RFC, GBO etc... I have never felt anything but welcome there... and you are welcome here. We are living in a small world.

I spent the last couple weeks in California. Everywhere I went, people were saying how nice Canadians are. I had to let them know that there are a lot of Canadian jerks too. Don't let the "nicks" of the site ruin it for you. I personally love the Charger, and have modified the hell out of mine. I'm pretty fond of Americans too. You guys have some cool stuff down south, like suppressors. We're a little jealous of that ;)

But I never thought of a tang to secure the receiver to the stock. That is a good idea!

...the scope is mounted to the receiver and the barrel is mounted onto the receiver so as long as those 3 parts stay together solid like i dont really care what the stock is doing.

I bedded the rear of the receiver into my Blaster stock and it made quite a difference. With expensive ammo, which admittedly I don't buy often, I can approach MOA consistently at 50 yards. The inletting was a tad deep, so I also took the opportunity to make the receiver flush, so it wasn't just a performance mod.

I live 50 miles from the Manitoba border and have spent a lot of time riding ATV and snowmobile in Canada (Manitoba and Ontario)...so have some good friends up there. Manitoba's license plates have "Friendly Manitoba" stamped on them...which I have found to be true.

I got the idea to add a tang after seeing the one offered by Kidd. Kidd Tang So I thought how can I do this without having a mill to fit it to the receiver.........

Both countries have people that are just a waste of skin, please overlook ours! Shooting in AZ I have found very helpful and friendly guys. This guy does not speak for me !

i keep changing my Charger around, still havnt found a version of it im 100% comfortable with.

Why do you suppose benchrest shooters or any accuracy type shooters for that matter glass bed the receivers to the stock? You can't have a receiver floating around in the stock and expect any kind of consistent shot groups. The 10/22 design has a sloppy/loose receiver stock interface with its one screw front attachment and slip fit rear attachment. See post #5 in this thread. Adding a rear screw goes a long ways in stabilizing the receiver.

If you are shooting a Charger offhand or just plinking beer cans none of this would apply.

im tempted to pick up a rear tang add on and take a old stock that i can butcher and compare with and without to see if there is any marked difference in accuracy.

Been there done that, many times. Done properly, there is definitely a difference in accuracy "consistency" and in my opinion, there is also an improvement in the tolerance to a wider range of ammo with acceptable results.

hmm, that tweaks my interest even more now!
what do you mean by if done properly?
im sitting here thinking that drilling a receiver and getting a rear tang bolted on would be a fairly straight forward thing, now you have me worried im missing something!!!
