Hi Guys,

For those that make their own case lube from Lanolin and 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, where do you get your liquid lanolin?

I've checked out Wal-Mart, Superstore, and Shoppers Drug Mart and they don't have it.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Amazon.ca brother - free shipping. You can check your local "health" stores also - but I would not waste my time.

I recommend 08 to 1 ratio. I used to do 12 to 1 but had issues while trimming .223 brass.

Cheers,

Vitamart dot ca for lanolin (sign-up for emails and save $5 on a min order). Costco for 99% rubbing alcohol. I get mine from Superstore.

We have lots of farms with sheep in my area. I just sneak into a field at night and rub them wooly little critters silly. They seem to like it and I get my lanolin, so it's win-win for all concerned.

At least I hope it's lanolin that I am getting from the sheep. Whatever it is, it's an excellent case lube.

Hippies work too, if you can't find a sheep. But it's hard to get the smell off your hands.

I've used STP oil treatment on a stamp pad for years. Nothing to mix up and it works as good as any of the lubes made by RCBS, Lyman, CH etc. One container of STP is almost a lifetime supply
