need help with lee load all !!!

if the seller gave you shot or powder bushings that were modified which he knew about but didn't inform you, then he's an arsehole. Wouldn't hurt to let him know you know he's an arsehole. Too late to do any good for you but maybe he'll think twice next time. It's like training a dog, they pee on the floor a few times but eventually they figure it out.
That's along the lines of what I was thinking too. It's why I think they may have simply flipped the loader without using it, most sellers here are pretty good folks in my experience.

Most of my custom bushings are home made.. not something I'd be comfortable selling.
The last time I got a new lot of 700X, I had to go up or down (can't remember which way now) three bushing sizes to get the same drop weight. That was an eye-opener. There can be quite a variation in density from one lot to another.

I've been down this road where the seller says it's in good condition, and then when you find problems he makes an excuse that he's just flipping it and never used it. If you don't know what the condition is then you should say you don't know. Don't make up a story.

If the seller flipped it without checking it out but said it was good condition, then he's still an arsehole. :)

so the seller has told me he did not use the press very much BUT when he did he had to use over shot cards on most shells to get a good crimp,I have never used over shot cards and was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on using then on 7/8oz and 1oz loads to get a nice crimp? will this affect my pattern, pressure ,velocity?

Post the actual load you are using so we can help. Titewad is a fast burning 7/8 - 1oz 12ga target load powder, the usual drop in a Remington STS or Winchester AA is about 16-17grs depending on the rest of the components used and no those hulls are not interchangeable, the data is for both.

I'm not surprised. I was using 17 grains of Titewad in the Remington hulls with 7/8 oz of shot. With the CB-0178 wad I had too much space, so I added a Cheerio before dropping shot.
Next time I bought wads I subbed the CB-0175-12 3/4 ounce wad and got a near perfect fit. You might have trouble with the wad rammer pulling those wads back out of the case using a LLA, my 12 gauge loader is a MEC so I don't have that issue. Enlarging the end hole of the rammer/drop tube a tad on the LLA should fix that problem.
The AA hull should be a better fit with the wads you're currently using.

yes change the powder bushing until you get close to the starting load and work from there. also are you weighing one charge or 5 and seeing how they come out? i would also keep the powder hopper at least 1/2 full. also try to keep a consistent movement for each shell you charge.

I used a Load All for many years. I agree with the above advice, 100%
