It is very touchy to buy a handgun from a second owner...

As someone who has 12/6, and buy and sell quite a few, most of these guns have had a number of different owners over the years. Bought a LOT of my 12/6 guns over the EE, and haven't been burned yet.

'Tis true. And there's a plethora of other Nutterz on here whose first language isn't English, which is evident from their sentence structure, etc. And I know from other threads that JP can write, and structure an English sentence quite well. But this... this is a masterpiece of ill-placed letters and words. Exceptional really. I mean, it took me less time to decipher Looky's posts and, well, that's saying something :p

How your french my friend, i wont hit you if you make a error in your sentence structure... JP.:)

I recently bought a 1988 made Armi San Marcos (CVA) Remington New Model Army from a friend at the club. Looks like it's seen a lot of use but functions just fine. Guns will last a very long time if taken care of.

Well dude, if you've been here long enough you'd realize he lives in Quebec and English is probably not his first language, though it should have been. (Just kidding). Don't assume everyone on here was either born here or learned English as their native tongue. ;)

As for me, I only buy used on the EE here, and my two favorite guns are 130 years old and likely have killed people.

This. It needed to be said. Thanks.

Take Care

ps The Edmonton Public School Board spent four years trying to pound French into my head - got a C by winning a serve against my French teacher in June. Hell I had a hard enough time getting a B in my English.

PPS Realize is needs a "z" not an "s". LOL I know that only because there was a red line under the word.

Mon français est impeccable et sans défaut. La structure de mes phrases est l'envie des experts linguistiques du monde entier. Cower et tremblez à la puissance de ma grammaire! Eh bien, d'après Google ...

Winston Churchill replied to his publisher when the latter indicated to Winston he should not end a sentence with a preposition. Winston's reply, "Your impudence, I will not put up with." LOL

I picked up an Axis XP II in .308 that I really don't have a use for. I haven't taken it out yet and I'm probably going to put it up for sale. I hadn't even considered this being an issue for someone.

He'll buy third hand from a vendor. Just not us peasants.

I will fix that for you, i will buy brand new from a vendor with full return warranty... If you consider yourself a peasant, i am sorry for your self estime... JP.

That works better if you don't have a huge thread about how much you love your Star Model-B Super. 30 day return isn't any more of a "full warranty" than a 30 year old gun is "brand new"

To each their own OP, I have purchased and sold NIB rifles, yet to get hosed. The latest NIB was 1400 from a store that actually still had a few, 900.00 on the EE. Sure I took the gamble and now have some coin for glass.....

Super B is a great pistol for 300.00 but it aint a Les Baer... JP.

I know they're great pistols, but they're still surplus. As I previously said, if a store sells you a pistol they received used and haven't fired that's fine. Someone on the EE does it, and you question their motives.
