Just got my Remington MLR .338 lapua back awhile ago from having a Bartlein 5R MTU 1:9.35 barrel installed

Still working on load development but it looks promising with H1000 and 250gr Bergers

My 10BA Stealth in 6.5CM. Life has gotten in the road of getting out to the range that much with it, but first day out I put 50 rounds through it and managed to put 9 rounds into a 2.095" group. ~.669moa is decent in my books, for a start. Still working on load development, still need to lighten the trigger and learn the equipment.

Sightron SIII 8-32x56 MOA-2, Nightforce rings, AP Lil'Bastard brake, Harris BP.

The 3 uncircled shots were me getting on paper at 300m after moving out from 100m, only had 9 rounds left at that point. I'm still learning the scope and rifle

Yes, apparently 39.7gr is mild, but my reloading manual said 40gr was max. I've done more research and have loaded rounds up to 42.5 gr for load development, now to find the time to get out there.

The stock needs to be upgraded, would be the only complaint I have so far. The design is not conducive to putting a bag under it, but is otherwise solid.

How do you like the XTR II? I have wondered if they are a good scope somewhere between Vortex PST's and something like Nightforce. They look like a good deal but I haven't seen many reviews.

using low ATRS 34mm rings.

gun was shooting 2 feet to the right this week end, noticed the scope had slipped in the rings and the rings base bolt was loose

I've just got a very similar set up but the NV forend and just picked up that same scope so just trying to judge ring height

if the NV forend is the one with a top rail I would definitly NOT go with the ATRS low rings

FWIW the burris with inserts are awesome too.

Finally got a chance to finish painting the stock...

Rem 783 - tuned factory trigger, EGW bolt knob, Wolff firing pin spring, notched for Savage recoil lug for faster barrel swaps - No blueprinting done nor needed on action
McGowen Prefit in CM/Blued (got tired of SS and wanted to try something new), fluted, threaded muzzle 5/8-24, 6.5 Creedmoor, 8 twist
Modified Boyds Pro Varmint stock
CDI DBM modified to fit and function.
Accessory rails for bipod, barricade stocks, pic rails, tripod adaptors, etc.



Currently testing Berger 140gr VLD, Nosler 140gr RDF and Matrix 142gr... H4350, Fed 210 and CCI 200 primers, PRVI 22-250 brass (will add Hrn brass shortly). 1/3 min at 250yds so far but recent testing with CCI200 might squeeze that down a bit more???



Optics Sightron STAC 3-16X42 LRMOA, Burris Sig ZEE rings, EGW 20 MOA 1pc base. Scope has been tracking very well and holds POA once adjusted.

Has proven to be very accurate all the way out to 1265yds (yesterday). Functions great and feeds smoothly from MDT mags.

Really enjoying the 6.5 CM and glad to be back in the world of 6.5mm cartridges. More pics and info on my facebook page (find me at mystic precision inc)

FWIW the burris with inserts are awesome too.

We have our own rings so I'll use the MDT and mocked it up with another set of rings and 1" works. The NV rail does come up into the scope but you cannot see it. Decided to go with 1.25" in hopes I might be able to use a scope cap or bikini cover at least. Sent the chassis out to get a custom colour done, when I get it back and put back together I'll post pics of the update.

The 1,600m mark still eludes me, though I was literally a kunt hair's off from hitting the gong. Rounds just dancing around the target, but no hits. 1,300m was a breeze, but I still have to earn 1,600m
