Just ordered a lower and starting to put together a shopping list. I'm looking for colored (red) safety, mag release all those goodies and I'm trying to find a red carrier group but my Google skills are failing me... Anyone know of a site that carries these

Odinworks makes a lot of those smaller bits 'n pieces in red anodized - I have some on mine. Got them through Blackleaf Industries in AB.

Just overkill for a castle nut (used a bit of loctite tough)!

Basically you use a punch on the end plate at one of the castle nut spaces. The material will mushroom out filling the hole. The theory is that it prevents the castle nut from backing off under heavy use. A lot of people either recheck it from time to time, or don't bother with it at all after initial install. I know that if mine is ever going to come loose it will either happen at a time I have no tools available to me, or it'll happen mid use and my gun will fly apart.
