I have always just tumbled the cases to clean off the lube. I probably have to change out my media a little more often, but I have never found it to be a big deal.

I do the same. Normally I use Isopropyl alcohol with lanolin as a lube. At the rate it gets used up, I figure my 16 oz bottle will last at least 10000 rounds.
