What is everyone using to mount their 34mm scope tubes to Ar type rifles. I really like the aero precision mounts because they are light weight but can't seem to find the 34mm in stock in Canada. The only mounts I can find in stock seem to be the vortex offerings and ADM which are both heavier. Which is a better choice for my ACR and bushnell DMR?

ATRS rings(Alberta Tactical Rifle). Light weight, no lapping and durable. They are expensive but I have them on 3 different rifles now.

I second that. I've used Vortex, Nightforce, Burris, Leupold, Ken Farrell, TPS, Sako and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. ATRS rings beat them all, by far. I just finished converting my bolt rifles to them. The best design I've seen, visually appealing, extra durable finish, lightweight 7075 aluminium. The rings have a finish that perfectly matches Nightforce scopes. As long as you're using a good rail, no lapping, no ring marks, no crushed tubes. They're expensive but worth every penny.

agreed!!!!

i use geissele or kac..... both are top quality, i like the fact that geissele make different versions for the sr-25 with different ring spacing for the luepold mk6 scopes and 2 extra recoil lugs.

i may have a spare unused kac available.... but they are pricey.

Look up NEAR manufacturing. I've seen a few of his mounts and have been nothing short of amazed. Made in Canada as well is a nice bonus.
