Well. I inherited some boxes of reloading stuff.
I have never "rolled my own" as they say, and I can't see myself getting into it anytime soon.
I am trying to get an idea of what some of this is worth (realizing it's not new - and I think the presses will need assembling?). This isn't a "for sale" thread. Just looking for some help in getting a rough value for a trade option :)

There is a lot of ammunition. I can't sell it to someone in good faith - because I have NO IDEA when it was made, or how it was made. However, some appears factory too. However - all would be good for reloading / reusing.

Lots of 44mag brass.

So - here are the pictures...
Just hoping to get some insight as to trade value.

I purchased a similar lot from a guy retiring from shooting for about $300.00 not saying that is what it's worth just saying that's what I payed. We both left smiling!

It would sell at a gunshow for $650 to $700. The loaded rounds are sold as components. The bullet molds are $40 each if they aren't rusty. The dies, they sell for $20 to $40 if they aren't rusty. Hard to see the condition inside a box. The 2 rusty presses are worth cleaning up in a glass blasting cabinet if you know someone who has one. As is maybe $30 for the shotgun press and nothing for the lee. That little thing inside the lead pot goes with the brass trimmer. There should be more of them kicking around. Nice inheritance.

Yeah, I would tend to agree on this estimate as well. $500-$600 for a quick sale, $700-$750 if you hold out, provided everything is all cleaned up and verified working order. As for the things in the lead pot, the small bit with the little stem is a pilot bit for the trimmer. The two long silver ones are for collets for the bullet puller. The RCBS press might be restorable but the dies look like junk from the amount of rust on 'em. Probably easier to sell as-is and let them restore it. The wood ball inthe sieve goes on the end of the arm of the Lee shotshell loader.

This inheritance can get you into reloading and bullet making.

Thanks for all the responses folks :)
Appreciate it. Had a few good PM's too.
I'm just not at a stage where I'd have the space or time to keep it all.
I think I'm going to put it out there for a trade deal first and see if someone is interested.

Thanks for the responses and PM's folks!
