just read a review of the maxi. I just committed to buy a regular typhoon I notice one reply with no problems can anyone else tell of their experience before I fork out a grand please

We have sold about 100 of the f12
And 5 of the maXie. Thwre seems to be somthing up with the maxies.

thank you for your response I did watch several videos although the links you provided I never seen and were helpful as I think they were the only English ones I've seen. My concern with videos is they can be edited, and while I am not suggesting these are, I value the experiences of actual owner/users to help decide. I know some people just always seem to get a bad one and some hit the lottery every time but I like to research as much as possible and like with these guns I feel safe jumping in.But now concerns pop up so I just wanted to open a place up for others like me to do research as only reviews I seem to find are written by sellers or written in Turkish

if you are in east ontario our partner company WGT is hosting a sig demo day this weekend , just north of CFB trenton, S&J will be there, and if you liek you can come visit my booth and shoot the F12 for free. just ask for bad boy beeson, or look for the fat british guy :)

I take my flash hider off when using chokes. Initial advertisements said chokes could be used with the faux silencer and flash hiders, but subsequent clarification said this wasn't the case.

Other than that, mine has been excellent: it has chewed through cheap Challenger, Challenger handicap, Federal Top Gun and S and B Low Recoil slugs. I pounded through 200 rounds over two days at the Redneck 3 Gun match without cleaning. It ran super smooth!!!
 
Thank you for the response I have not had the chance to play yet but I'm happy I don't need to use the can to run the chokes sounds like you just remove the flash hider and use like that am I correct? I found the owners manual a little confusing I think because of language barrier the way mines written anyway thanks again for clarifying for me will be playing Wed or Thursday cant wait
 
Yup, take the "can" or flash hider off and you're GTG. The manual is a little iffy, but no worse than Norinco!!!

Enjoy it, and know it can take a few hundred rounds to break in new semi shotguns!!
 
Can additional rails be attached on the forearm? Both top and bottom?
Can it take mlok or keymod?
Are the Ceracoated ones first hard anodized and then painted or only Cercoat applied over bare aluminum?
What kind of butt stock can the original be replaced with? Civilian buffer tube? Milspec? Other?
These are the big questions holding me back from buying either a regular F12 or F12 maxi.

not 100 per cent sure but think but stock at compatible, and keymod on foregrip on all 4 sides for sure don't know if you can attach rails using keymod as not really familiar with that system don't know about cericoat but seems solid I personally would stay away from maxi based on info on here and my dealer problems but like mine, a regular f12 though I only popped a couple rounds outta mine till tomorrow
 
Can't tell you about the finish as mine is a F12 regular black. I'm pretty sure it is a commercial tube, but I haven't got around to trying/changing mine yet. Maybe call S&J, NAS or Lockhart to see what they can tell you.

I've said it before, but my F12 regular has been AWESOME. Highly recommend it!!
