I got my PPQ M2 45 for $850 a couple of months ago.
How do you like it?
Here's the $1180
I was looking at the Q5 Match too. From what I read is the same as the M2 with the exception of the Red Dot option. Also, trigger is the same. I could be wrong
what is different in the match 5"?

I tried one for the first time a few days ago too. I liked it a lot. 10 rounds in a 2" group at 10 yds. It felt really nice.I finally got the chance to shoot a 5 inch M2 today. That is a really, really nice gun.
Walther reps at 2017 SHOT told me the barrels are exactly the same.
I doubt PPQ's are inherently more accurate than the other guns mentioned. More than likely YOU are more accurate with the PPQ. I've owned/own a PPQ, Glocks, M&P's, CZ Shadow etc. but until I fired the Ruger SR9/9E I didn't truly understand how the right handgun can make you a better shooter. There's nothing fancy about the Rugers but I wouldn't trade them for anything currently available, they just work for me.
P.S. Before a $hit storm ensues I do understand that SOME handguns ARE inherently more accurate, I just don't believe the PPQ falls into the category of firearm.
Triggers play a big factor in accuracy. As far as striker pistols go, the Walther trigger is exceptional.
Did the Walther factory say the PPQ M2 barrels are not hammer forged? And only the Q5's are?
I also shoot PPC competition to 50 meters, accuracy is very important. Please come to a match if you think a HK VP9 or Sig P320 is more accurate than the Walther PPQ / Q5. I would like to be proven wrong. Funny thing with many people who post on gunnutz, never seem to see them on match day. Not too many pistol shooters testing their guns for accuracy at 50 meters either.
