I was in Calgary for a USPSA shoot and couple guys were shooting in the new PCC division and I got a chance to plink with a 9mm AR15. What a blast, so much fun.
Now I need to get a pistol carbine, what a great division.

Agreed! It would be nice to see this come to IPSC! This is something that clubs can put on at the local level if they have enough interest.

IPSC who knows I've given up on IPSC and moved on to USPSA and IDPA.
The problem is that there are very few IDPA matches or clubs, and even fewer USPSA. IPSC seems to be it. I know a few clubs in Manitoba set up USPSA matches, but you do not hear of them that often :(. I would love to get a USPSA membership again, but unless you live near the border and travel a lot to shoot, it is pointless.

It's being discussed in IPSC currently, but it's just a discussion at this point. I haven't seen anyone say yet that they plan to take it to the General Assembly.

I don't see any affiliated clubs in SK on the USPSA site. There are clubs in BC, AB, MB, ON, and NS. All it takes for an IPSC club to start doing USPSA is to ask your Regional Director for his permission and signature on the required form, and pay the $200 affiliation fee. It's a relatively painless process. You'll need ten USPSA members to affiliate as well. Sean will have some conditions for you, but they are all reasonable.

We are running USPSA Classifiers at TSE in Calgary during the winter months. The outdoor season starts at BTSA in Kananaskis starting in April.

We also run SCSA (Steel Challenge) at BTSA starting in April and will be holding the Canadian National Steel Challenge again this year in Sept.

We started CO (Carry Optics) last year in USPSA and SCSA. We just started PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) this year. We had our first two PCC shooters classified last Sunday :)

It is going to be an exciting year!

USPSA is growing and strong in Southern Alberta, we have great matches and the guys organizing are doing an awesome job.

At area 1 this year, they had separate stage briefings and start positions for pcc. The RO's were very thankful when we showed up to the stage and told them we didn't have any pcc shooters in our squad

personally i think it you want to shot a rifle go to a rifle match. a pistol match should only have pistols in it.

Now if we are talking multi gun!!!
