Try before you buy in Ontario?

Is there anywhere in Ontario where one can try a few pistols before buying?

I want to get a Polymer 9mm but there's a ton of options.

Only one I know in ON is the range in Stouffville, Target Sports although they won't have all 9mm to try, may have the most popular one.

I am not sure of the policies by Silverdale, might also worth giving them a call.

As already mentioned, Target Sports is a indoor range that rents a variety of handguns. As far as I know Kelly's Sporting Goods over by Windsor does the same. Easthill Outdoors near Orono has a new indoor range ready to open up very soon, I imagine they will also have a pro shop with gun rentals.

Haha interesting approach. I feel like if I had more than one I wouldn't feed them all as much as they deserve.

In my experience. If you don't know anyone/anywhere to try them out. Handle a bunch, buy the one that feels the best and go from there. If you buy decent products they tend to hold their value well. Unless the manufacturer decides to slash their prices out of the blue (thanks a lot Glock, lol)

Urban Tactical in Brantford has a rental type programs. They're pretty flexible there. It may be worth a call to them to see if they can help you out.
