I have a Beretta 1301 Tactical 18.5" barrel with ghost ring sights model. I am wondering if I could purchase a 1301 Competition barrel (21 or 24" with vented rib) and fit it to my Tactical model to have both guns in one. I don't see why this wouldn't work. Wondering if anyone knows or has done this? Thanks.

I think your best bet is to call Beretta directly. I have a Comp 1301 21" and would love to hear about the reverse as well. Although currently I'm just researching tube extensions and optics.

It's likely going to be fairly cost prohibitive. The barrel assembly (if you can source it) will probably run you close to $700 USD (or $1000 CAD) so you may be better off just buying a second shotty.

Yeah, I thought I saw barrels for sale on Brownells and they weren't cheap.

Good Day

My understanding...the answer is NO

The receiver on the two shotguns are different the tac is a 3" receiver the comp is 3 1/2 receiver they are not interchangeable and unfortunately the barrels are not either

If you want do all 1301 get the 21" or 24" comp and a second barrel then shorten the 2nd barrel to the desired length.

All the best
Trevor

1301 Comp is not 3.5".

If the shotgun is marked 3" your stuck with 3".
As far as any LE is concerned?

If u fit a custom barrel, and the shotgun is advertised as 3.5" then use it as such
