Savage Mark II FVSR 22 lr bolt action - No body Stocks ..?

Those used to be much cheaper and I still went for the regular stock. I d go with whatever is the cheapest. The fancy stock does not make any differences.

Price I got from couple of dealers is around 370 but all have to order no body has it ?
Even though new B22 FVSR is out ,prices of this should have come down ..?

Why bother with these models if you want a wood stock? I'm confused by your reference to Boyd's.

I'd just buy the FV model (plastic stock, heavy barrel), save some money and it'll shoot as good or better than the tacticool looking FV-SR.

Tried the plastic stock ,doesn't have any cheek support ,I just hated it ,too small toyish .
Fvsr has oversized bolt ,which is good ,comes with short barrel and picatinny too .
Put a scope and boyds stock and away you go .

Tx found one for 345 !!!!!. Bulls Eye London .
Already ordered Boyds Pro varmint and kit from Kineeys .
Now need to get a decent scope for it ,suggestions welcomed ,my range is just 25 yards.
BTW if any one interested Tipton Best Vise is also on sale for $ 99 regular is 179 at Bulls Eye London .

If you have the coin I would recommend the leuppld 3-9x33 rimfire with EFR. Lightweight, adjustable parallax which will help in those short ranges and clear glass. I love mine. I guess a Nikon if you're going on a budget.

Irms - who / where / what is Kineeys - my google search turned up nothing and I'm also looking for a Pro Varmint.

Thx Tom
