See I was wondering if the AK takes Type-91 mags. Total deal breaker if not ;-P

If anything the vz-58 mag would be more prevalent in Canada to try and adapt a rifle for the Canadian market to. And the visual differences between the AK mag and the T81 mags are slim so why not just use the mag the rifle was designed for?

Guys with sks-d's and m305a's like myself that have many ak mags.. for the rest that don't I'm sure they don't care lol but I know I'll be trying mine see if I can't get a drum to latch in there haha would look awesome
 
So I'm under the impression that the blonde furniture pictured "isn't correct" as in it should be dark like the military photos.

I on the other hand prefer the blonde furniture so the "correct option" is just a plus for me that I will keep around for a rainy day.

You got which is the correct furniture backwards but yes I like the blonde look myself and am curious what the non correct wood looks like.
 
Yeah the blonde is what it comes with...the picture posted by TI on the first post is that actual finished product...that's what the rifles will look like...the reason they only posted a picture of the folding stock version is because the fixed stock version had a problem with either the finish, quality, or colour...I don't recall exactly what they said, but the blonde is the intended finish...

Ah okay thanks for the clarification.

I am definitely excited regardless, I have been waiting for the type 81 for years. It's about time.
